Rides, pools and park layout
The park's attractions range from the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool and Castaway Creek to water slides and family raft rides. Castaway Creek is a lazy river that flows around the park, making it a useful way to take a break between attractions.
Other attractions include Crush 'n' Gusher, Miss Adventure Falls, Gangplank Falls, Humunga Kowabunga, Storm Slides, Keelhaul Falls, Mayday Falls and Ketchakiddee Creek. Height limits vary: Humunga Kowabunga and Crush 'n' Gusher require guests to be at least 48 inches (122 centimeters) tall.
Ketchakiddee Creek is for guests 48 inches (122 centimeters) or shorter, while Bay Slides are for guests 60 inches (122 centimeters) or shorter.
Food and drink locations include Leaning Palms, Let's Go Slurpin' and Happy Landings Ice Cream. Disney's attraction and dining details can change, so check the park's official listings when planning what to do.
What should you bring for a water-park day?

Water shoes can make walking around the park more comfortable. For attractions, choose swimwear without buckles, rivets, zippers, exposed metal or other sharp objects. Children who are diaper-age must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in pool areas.
Disney provides complimentary life jackets, with children's sizes on self-serve racks around the park; adult-sized jackets are available at Singapore Sal's. Towels are also complimentary and available there. Lockers can be rented at Singapore Sal's, with sizes and prices set out by Disney.
You can bring a cooler, subject to inspection, but loose or dry ice, glass and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Reusable ice packs are allowed. Inner tubes for Castaway Creek are complimentary and available around the lazy river.
For a day that includes Disney Springs, consider how the water park fits with the rest of your plans; getting to Disney Springs from Lake Buena Vista is a separate trip to factor in.
